‘I AM FIRSTLY, NOTHING’

Choosing to comment on contemporary culture can leave both myself and the viewer feeling hopeless about the world and our place in it.
I want to take small actions to become a source of hope, despite my reflections on the state of society.

I have decided to do this print sale to raise money for three charities, showing that art can both simultaneously enlighten the mind and change peoples lives.

Chosen Charities:

Papyrus UK – Young Suicide Prevention and the promotion of positive mental health 

AKT – Helps LGBTQ+ young people find safety and security

TFS – Monthly social group for Transwomen/ transfems
